CANNA Coco A & B is a professional two-part nutrient system developed specifically for plants grown in coco coir and pre-buffered coco substrates.

Unlike many nutrient ranges that require separate vegetative and flowering formulas, CANNA Coco A+B uses one balanced nutrient system throughout both the growing and flowering phases. This makes feeding simpler while providing plants with the specialised nutrition required when cultivating in coco.

Why does it come in two parts?

CANNA Coco A+B is separated into two concentrates for an important reason.

Certain nutrients required at relatively high concentrations can react with one another when stored together in concentrated form. This can create insoluble compounds that plants cannot absorb.

By keeping the nutrient as separate A and B components, CANNA can maintain the required nutrient concentrations while keeping them available to the plant once correctly diluted in water.

Always use Coco A and Coco B in equal amounts.

Never mix the concentrated A and B products directly together.

How to Use CANNA Coco A & B

Shake both bottles thoroughly before use.

Fill your nutrient reservoir with water.

Recommended dilution

For 1 litre of water:

4 ml Coco A + 4 ml Coco B

For 10 litres of water:

40 ml Coco A + 40 ml Coco B

Dilution ratio: 1:250 per component

CANNA's current UK instructions specify an EC of approximately 1.2–2.3 mS/cm, including the EC of the starting water.

Recommended pH: 5.5–6.2.

Correct mixing order

For best results:

1. Fill the reservoir with water.
2. Add the required amount of CANNA Coco A.
3. Stir thoroughly.
4. Add an equal amount of CANNA Coco B.
5. Stir thoroughly again.
6. Check EC and pH before feeding.

Do not mix Coco A and Coco B together in concentrated form.

Adding them separately to a sufficiently large volume of water helps prevent nutrient precipitation and keeps the elements available to the plant.
