What is Leca?

The result is a porous, sterile, and lightweight aggregate that is pH-neutral and resistant to frost, chemicals, and water.

Specifications:

• Density: Leca Horticultural Grit is approximately a quarter of the weight of normal stone-based grit, with a dry bulk density of approximately 450kg/m3.

• Water Absorption: When saturated for at least 24 hours, it can absorb approximately 20% of its weight in water.
